🦝 Citroen C4 Grand Picasso Battery Problems
I have citroen GRAND PICASSO C4 2015 diesel 2.0 Hdi with two technical problems: 1. The first issue is that the start & Stop system suddenly stop working, when there is a sign of a clock near the "eco" image. You can see an example with a picture number 1 foR that problem. Is anyone know what the is the sign of the clock next to the ECO and why
Can't help with Citroen but it was a common problem with the SAAB 9-5 I used to own. Alarm is designed to sound even if battery is disconnected and as others have said that battery can get tired and fail. Happened to me and I bought the new box (in a rush about to go away so no time to try other ways. Cost was about 250 back then.
Common Problems. 1. response. Car unlocks, but will not start. Battery seems OK. Having exactly the same issue. Recently replaced battery. Seems to be worst in mornings and if I eventually get it started then it is ok until the next day. Seems to be getting progressively worse.
I mean look at the spec and features in C4 Grand Picasso Top Spec, any other brand would add £10k-£15k on top of their standard price to get these sort of features. So instead Citroen makes money on labour and parts which reflects on your quotation of £900 for a simple job.
Two or more people are needed to start your C4 Grand Picasso with a dead battery. This method only works in manual transmission cars. One person will push the car while you will sit in the driver’s seat. Turn the ignition key to start your car. Put your car in second gear and fully press the clutch pedal.
I closed the topic thinking and using the opinions of professionals, but the problem still exists. Citroen C4 Grand Picasso 1.6 Vti, 2009 It turns out that: good-tested battery, the mass is good The module above the battery is transcoded, although there was probably no need for it, Good alternator, replaced clutch and bearings.

The car will have a dpf. All diesel Picassos have them. Although yo may be able to clear a dpf yo actually have to get the exhaust hot. T do this you need to run relatively quickly, best along a motorway or dual carriageway, keeping the speed and the revs high. 50-70mph for 20 minutes in 4th gear will probably do it.
Did a bit of investigating and suspected that the push pin on the bonnet switch wasn't being deprerssed far enough. (Far enought to break circuiot but not reliably). The switch is very sensitive and only requires light pressure to break circuit. The switch does not appear to be adjustable for height.
Hello, After the replacement of Off Side Suspension Spring and both lower wishbone arms - Damn!! potholes and speed bumps. I now get fault alarms. Firstly - Handbrake Faulty, then. Secondly - ESP /ASR System Fault and in both cases the corresponding visual graphics. Also on the application of handbrake switch, it will not auto release when car
citroen g4 picasso - stop start - kiss (keep it simple) Another vote for the battery being the culprit. I have a petrol Mazda an the idle speed went all haywire. I did an ECU re-learn procedure which cured it for a week. Battery never seemed to struggle starting the car, but it was 3 years old and not a top of the line brand.
Hello. if your that concerned get the battery checked, most motor factors will carry this out for free. And make sure that when the battery is bad you get the right one. Lots of people have been sold a battery below spec and you will continue to have problems as the electronics are sensitive to this.
